Hotel Policies

Book direct incentives: you’ll receive a £10 voucher to use on food and drinks, as well as complimentary use of our spa facilities, free wi-fi and onsite parking. Not available with any other special offer or rates.

Family policy

Children (aged 3-12 years) are charged at £35 per child per night, to include full English and continental breakfast with use of our outdoor pool when sharing a room with two adults*. (Please note, this may vary on holidays such as Easter and Christmas and so on. Please see any individual packages/offers for relevant child rates which may vary from those listed here.

An extra person is charged at £50 per night, to include full English and continental breakfast with use of the spa facilities when sharing a room with two adults. Please note that the maximum occupancy in our classic rooms is two adults, so you’ll need to choose from our deluxe room category upwards to accommodate families.

Pet policy

All pets are allowed. There will be a charge of £15 per night excluding food. Please inform us at time of booking to enable us to allocate an appropriate room.

Group policy

A booking of eight rooms or more is considered a group. For group reservations, get in touch by calling us on 01225 723731.

Cancellation policy

For accommodation up to 5 rooms

In the unfortunate event that you need to cancel your booking, you would need to do so by 2.30pm, two days prior to arrival. Any cancellation made within 48 hours of arrival, will be charged for the duration of the stay. (Please note exceptions may apply for bookings made over Easter, Christmas and New Year, where prepayment is required and payments are non-refundable or transferable).
No shows will be treated as a cancellation and will be charged in full for the stay.

For accommodation up to 10 rooms

In the unfortunate event that you need to cancel your booking, you would need to do so by 2.30pm, seven days prior to arrival. Any cancellation made within seven days of arrival, will be charged for the duration of the stay. (Please note exceptions may apply for bookings made over Easter, Christmas and New Year, where prepayment is required and payments are non-refundable or transferable).

Payment policy

All bookings need to be guaranteed by credit card. A pre-authorisation is needed from the credit card or debit card on check-in that will be used for payment on departure. Please rest assured that a pre-authorisation is not a payment and final payment for the duration of your stay and any extras will be taken on departure.

Other

We offer free parking at the hotel. Please note that parking is at your own risk.

The hotel operates a strictly no-smoking policy in all areas of the house. If guests are found to be smoking in the room or the hotel is unable to reuse the room due to the smoke in the room, a fee will be charged for damages.

Any damages to the room or furniture by pets will be charged a fee depending on the nature of the damage.
