Guest Relations Assistant

The details:

As a guest relations assistant you would be bringing your bright and cheerful personality to deliver a very warm, welcoming, and efficient service to our guests. Ensuring exceptional service standards are delivered and maintained at all times in line with our guests’ expectations.

Your duties will cover:

People

· To provide our guests with a fast, efficient and friendly check in & out

· To ensure all guest queries or requests are handled in a polite, efficient manner and a high level of customer service is consistently maintained.

· To promote effective communication within the department by being receptive to feedback communicated to you.

Service and Product

· To ensure a high level of product knowledge of the hotel and the local area and know what is happening in the hotel daily.

· To ensure all duty shift procedures are being carried out and recorded on shift checklists.

Financial

· To assist in the promotion and selling of all the facilities of Homewood in order to achieve the hotel’s financial budget.

· To adopt a sales attitude at all times and maintain an awareness of all sales opportunities within the hotel to maximise room and restaurant revenue for the hotel.

Food and Beverage Assistant

Housekeeping Room Attendant

· Efficiently clean assigned rooms and areas as per Homewood’s standards. Including but not limited too; dusting, vacuuming, changing bed linen, cleaning bathrooms, reception and public spaces

· Ensure all areas are kept clean, safe and hygienic.

· Ensure additional cleaning programmes are undertaken as directed and to the performance standard required.

· Review daily inventory of supplies needed to complete the assignments of the day

· Ensure all lost property items left in guest rooms are recorded on the worksheet, reported to management and locked in the Housekeeping office

· Ensure all maintenance and safety hazards are promptly reported to management to minimise hazard risk and ensure a high level of guest satisfaction at all times

· Take personal responsibility for equipment, ensuring it is always operated correctly and secure.

· Maintain up to date knowledge of all chemicals and cleaning products, and the correct handling procedures.

· Required to be flexible to work during high business demand periods and support the team when required.
